Below is a list of possible questions about the MSR Fanzine (which will be updated as we get more asks), but if you don't find the information you're looking for here, feel free to submit a question through the "Contact" page.
What kind of things are included in the zine?
the backbone content of the Touchstone is fanfiction and art. however, we're always looking for other kinds of content like meta-commentary (essays or short pieces), interviews, analysis, jokes, ephemera, screen-caps, and other great stuff. if we continue into future issues, we'll also print a letters section from readers and fans.
What's the due date for submissions?
the deadline for submitting content to the third issue was June 1, 2020. future issues will be published based on rolling submissions, so submit at any time!
How many issues will there be?
this is really up to everyone involved with the project, and those who order copies of the zine!
Will every submission be accepted?
this will depend on the number of submissions received and whether it fits with the theme. submissions that don't make it into the issue can be posted online, or submitted to a later issue.
yes! many of our fans and contributors live all around the world. we absolutely ship internationally.
How much will the fanzine cost?
the cost depends on the number of pages and production costs but varies between $6 and $9 USD, plus shipping, which will vary depending on where you live.
Will there be a digital version?
because the cost of shipping is high for many folks, there are pdf versions available as well. digital versions follow the release of the hard copy by about a month.
